I'm joining up with the sweet ladies for Motivation Monday. This has kept me motivated and accountable. Some things that I'm working on for this week:
1. Drink more water. I do good for a day, then crave a diet coke so badly. Someone suggested drinking seltzer water to ease the craving. I am willing to try anything. I think stress plays into my craving, as well.
2. Cook at home and trying new recipes. This has been challenging. My husband will eat anything, but my kids are very picky. I need to research new creative recipes that they will like.
3. My self esteem. Lately, I have been comparing myself to everyone. Which I know not to do. I am blessed with my family, and I have no reason to be unhappy.
4. Exercising. We are all doing great with this one. We have been to the track as a family 3 - 4 times a week. We are planning to run the Color Me Rad race together. This has a been a great experience for our family.
5. Eating more veggies. Fruit is not a problem for us to eat - just expensive. I have stopped buying potato chips and cookies. If it's not in the house, then we can't eat it.
I look forward to reading everyone's tips for this week. I learn so much each week.

I totally get the comparison thing. I think so many women do this and it's difficult to break out of that cycle.
Yay for not buying any junk! If it's not in the house, I don't eat it!
Hi Christi!
You have great plans for the week! I know you can do it!
So happy to have you linking up! And since my husband does most of the grocery shopping, I'm needing to brainwash into not buying as much crap as he does...LOL! GOod luck!
Oh Christi! I can completely relate about comparison! They say that comparison is the thief of joy. I totally agree too. I get so down when I start comparing myself to others which is easy to do online. Sounds like you have been working hard to staying motivated! :)
