Roasting hotdogs

Corbin went over to his friend, Christian 's house. They roasted hot dogs and made smores. Christy, christian's mom sent me these pictures!

My sick boy!

Corbin had to be admitted in childrens hospital. He has been having bad abdomal pains for 2 weeks. Hopefully, we will find out what's wrong and fix it. I hate my boy being sick.

20 Year High School Reunion

Man, I am old. I can't believe it has been 20 years since I graduated high school. I am

so glad that I went to the reunion and I had such a great time.

She has the heart of a lion!

Tonight, C had to come up with a couple of methapors. I thought Oh, how fun. Until I realized he is 9. He could not understand what Eric and I were talking about. We thought we were being so funny. He just looked at us like we were from another plant. He finally said that his teacher said he could look sp some on the computer. Ha! He finally settled on these two:
* She has the heart of a lion.
* He has a heart like stone.

I guess a 9 year old could understand those two. Maybe it's a good thing I don't teach Language. I stick to Math!

Favorite Bible verses

I was asked by the school's Annual Staff to come up with a quote that I love or that represents me. My mind went completely blank. I know I have heard great quotes, but I couldn't think of one. Except this one - " Life is hard. It's even harder when your stupid." This is from a fellow teacher. I don't think I should use it in the annual. The girls then said the PE teacher was using a Bible verse. So I started thinking. What is my favorite verse. I have highlighted several in my Bible. Hear are some of my favorites.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55:22

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34:4

UT vs Montana

Eric was going to take C to the UT game, but C didn't want to go. He played in 100 degree weather and wanted to rest. So I decided I would go. A very nice lady that I work with gave us the tickets. They were not great seats, but you can't beat free. The atmosphere was great - until the downpour. I tried to stick it out. I really did. But after UT scored twice, I begged Eric to leave. Yes, I am a wimp. I admit it. Eric didn't mind since they were playing Montana.

Horrible self portrait, but I don't have many pictures of Eric and I. Also, my brother - twin brother - was in a skybox. Yeap, he didn't get wet. He enjoyed loads of food, as well. He watched all the crazy college kids that didn't get out of the storm! I was in the concourse along with a bunch of other people - just standing there, waiting until the storm passed, bored too death!

Saturday Scene

We had a great weekend full of family and fun. On Saturday, we went to C and A's game. It was so hot! C played really well. We are so proud of him. A had a hard time cheering. Ha! She is a typical cheerleader. It was too hot for her. She complained the whole game. She even got the 3rd quarter off. That girl!

Daddy's home

Eric came home last night after being gone for 2 and 1/2 weeks. It was so hard being a single parent ! My kids missed their dad do much!
